Civil War Marine Uniform Requirements
Compared to other "reenactment groups," we are setting the standard for excellence in Civil War USMC reenacting.
As a result, it will take a little
additional effort and money to do it right. A
byproduct of this standard will be pride and esprit de
corps. Members purchase their own uniforms and
equipment from our list of preferred suppliers. If you
purchase your equipment from the preferred suppliers
(selected for quality of their work, NOT nepotism!) and
maintain it well, it will provide you many years of faithful
service.

Is
this expensive? YES! But we are doing it right, and
when all is said and done, you will have the absolute best
Union Marine kit in the entire Civil War reenacting
community. By holding ourselves to such a high
uniformity and quality standard, we will do justice to the
Civil War Marine. We do not publish the contacts here
because some of the sources are overworked cottage business
owners who have agreed to work with us as long as the orders
are limited to Constellation personnel
only.
